Kaetlyn Bailey

Kaetlyn Bailey is a Kentucky native, making her way through Denver, Colorado! Kaetlyn is an all around creative and has many hobbies that showcase this such as jewelry making, scrapbooking, painting, photography, tie-dye, embroidery–her creativity knows no bound. She graduated from the University of Colorado-Denver in May of 2023, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, specializing in digital design. During her time at the University, Kaetlyn was an active member of the University Honors and Leadership Program and successfully completed a minor in leadership studies along with two seniors these, one of which was presented at RACAS (Research and Creative Arts Symposium).

Over the course of her academic journey, Kaetlyn honed a diverse skill set, showcasing proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, a strong command of both Google & Microsoft Suite, expertise in software such as Cinema 4D, Figma, Zbrush, Blendr, a solid fundamental understanding & use of HTML & CSS, as well as a solid foundation in branding, merchandising, & print design. She finds immense joy in conducting research & enjoys user testing, these have attributed her love for user interfaces & user experience design.

Kaetlyn is currently an invitation & stationary designer with Swoozies-Denver. In her previous role, she was a student-level graphic designer, at LynxConnect within the University of Colorado Denver. During this time, she demonstrated excellence in crafting a diverse array of materials, encompassing flyers, infographics, pin designs, brochures, & more. Her dedicated efforts were directed towards supporting various university offices, including the Office of Global Education, Office of Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities, & Study Abroad.

Before this, She held a significant position at Office Depot for two years, during which she worked diligently in the print department. Amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, she assumed responsibilities encompassing the design, printing, & completion of various projects, including posters, flyers, business cards, invitations, & signs. Kaetlyn’s remarkable time management & leadership skills came to the fore during this period, where she spearheaded the production, finishing, and shipping of tens of thousands of infographics & posters aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19 in the Denver-Metro area as well as other COVID Check Colorado locations through out the state.

Having successfully graduated, Kaetlyn is now eager to embark on the next chapter of her career journey. She is known for her collaborative spirit and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact. She loves helping others and enjoys displaying her creative passions through her other hobbies.
